Who are we?

The Real Business Challenge (RBC) is part of Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd.’s (CCE) award-winning community education programme. Free to enter, it is a national enterprise competition that is open to all secondary schools. The RBC gives young people the opportunity of working with a leading, global

brand and helps themdevelop skills for greater employability in a competitive jobmarket.

What’s new?

The RBC challenges students to tackle a unique business task set by CCE with successful teams winning the opportunity to work alongside CCE business experts on a live project. Through taking part, students develop a broad range of skills and competencies from teamwork and leadership skills through to communication, problem-solving and budget management. Successful teams get to pit their wits against other schools, meet senior

representatives from the world of business and win some exciting prizes along the way. The challenge is aimed at Years 9, 10, S2 and S3 and can be easily linked to teaching Business Studies, Careers or run as an off-timetable enterprise challenge for a whole year group. The RBC gives students an opportunity to practise skills that will give them a

competitive edge in the world of work. If students do well they will work with CCE on a live project. What’s more, they will have the experience of working with a leading brand to put on their CVs for life.
