Who Are We?

Established for over 80 years, YHA (England &Wales) has a proven track record of creating unique opportunities for young people to explore and revel in the great outdoors. YHA School Trips combine exciting activities with great value, quality accommodation facilities in 140 inspiring locations. What’s New?

As well as its newest additions (YHA Brighton and YHA Eden Project), YHA continues its programme of refurbishments (YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass and YHA Cambridge), revitalising

spaces and improving facilities. In addition, YHA now offers its Action Adventure package at more locations, either delivered by its own, expertly trained staff (YHA Edale and YHA Okehampton) or by fully accredited partners (Plas y Brenin andMere Mountains, to name just a couple). 74 of its sites are now LOtC accredited (that’s more than any other UK provider) and it's working on the rest. YHA continues to grow its partnerships and works with organisations such as the Field Studies Council and Peak District National Parks to deliver KS4 and 5 Education

Packages.

HowWill it Help Students?

Residentials give students the opportunity to engage with their subject in the real outdoors, away from everyday distractions and beyond the boundaries of the classroom. Fantastic for the fulfilment of fieldwork, YHA's GCSE and A level packages have been conceived with the current exam boards in mind. With up to 50% funding available*, no young person need miss out. *Up to 50% off the cost of YHA School Trip accommodation and food is available for young people from low income households.
