‘CREATIVE QUARTER’ OPEN FOR BOOKINGS

UK’s leading science and arts institutions are offering young people the chance to explore life in the creative industries

The V&A, Natural History Museum, Imperial College, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall, Christie’s South Kensington and Institut Français are inviting young people considering careers in the creative industries to a day of talks, workshops and behind the scenes tours on Friday November 13th.

Creative Quarter 2015 in South Kensington, London will host thousands of students between the ages of 13 and 19, giving them the chance to explore career options at a day of free events. The day is designed to showcase the latest developments in the creative industries, and give an overview of the different education and career paths available.

More than 45 events are on offer, with talks, workshops and behind the scenes tours covering: design, architecture, publishing, fashion, music and drama, science and technology. Topics range from the cinema industry to cutting-edge scientific research and computer coding, with many introduced by leading professionals in their field.

Advance booking is essential, and tickets for all talks and workshops should be made through the participating organisations.
