  • Junior Award Scheme for Schools; now online

The Junior Award scheme for Schools (JASS) is developing a web-based version of its successful accredited award scheme for 10 - 14 year olds. Ian Forder, JASS Director, commented ‘As more and more schools are moving to digital based learning we recognised that JASS had to offer a web-based alternative so students could plan, manage activities and record achievement on their ipads or tablets. Teachers will be able to see their students’ records, add comments and sign off, all on-line.’

JASS is a three-stage award scheme for children aged 10-14, which has been designed to help schools meet and evidence the personal development objectives of the National Curriculum while encouraging children to learn new skills, have new experiences and learn more about the world about them.

JASS is widely used to support the transition from primary to secondary and to assist with pupil profiling, and is already being used in 150 schools across the country.
